Here are some things I've seen recently that I found inspiring:
1) Jimmyvjv13's Triple Crown Elite Post:

This guy is a black card member, SNE, and Absolute Diamond Elite all among having a full time job and attending grad school at the same time. He is also a winning player having won around 23k last month in pure table winnings while maintaining all of these statuses. His work ethic is absolutely unreal and inspiring and something I'm really going to strive for in the future and especially this summer.
2) Story and Interview of Jose "Girah" Macedo
This kid at the age of 16 was able to work his way up from a $30 deposit and the micro stakes to playing the high stakes all within the past two years. He also was able to make enough money playing to afford coaching from the top names such as durrrr and jungleman. His work ethic is also amazing and he really has an interesting approach to the game for someone at such a young age.
3) Lastly is a story I saw posted in my 2+2 HU Regulars skype group:
" An obnoxious oil millionaire from Texas was running his mouth at a Las Vegas casino one night and Australian billionaire Kerry Packer was annoyed with him. He asked the man to tone it down a bit and the man just got more abrasive, going on to say to Packer... "You know who I am partner? I'm worth $60,000,000!" Kerry was quiet for a moment then pulled out a coin and said, "I'll flip you for it."
I thought the story was pretty bad ass and it just goes to show you that you always need to strive to be better and succeed beyond your expectations because there's always someone out there more successful than you are (obviously money isn't everything, just saying). I'm obviously proud I've been able to be a winning player in the past and make a profit over a decent sample in poker. I'm obviously striving to make much more and make all the profits I've made since I started playing in a months time frame and I know I'm fully capable of it. I see kids my age making 20k a month playing HU and I'm determined to get there. I'm sure those kids are seeing people making 60k a month and in the same situation as me wishing they were making that. I'm prepared to step up and make myself proud of all the work I've put into this game and to be able to help my future financially.
I spent last night watching the first two videos of the "Dog is Heads Up" deuces cracked series and I took some great notes and definitely found some leaks in my approach to the game. Gonna be studying up again tonight and hopefully getting a little volume in to see if it's helping.
